  Social welfare organization The Primary school caters to around 200 children which includes not only orphans of the "Children's Welfare Home" but also the deprived children of neighboring slums.
  Bengal Presidency Council of Women & the All Bengal Women's Conference formed an independent organization for Suppression of Immoral Traffic. This society came into being as ALL BENGAL WOMEN'S UNION.

This welfare organization (ABWU) is giving free legal aid to the deserving and needy as per provisions of the Legal Services Authorities Act. The Legal Services Clinic, which is run every Saturday between 3 to 5 P.M., is approved by State Legal Services Authority West Bengal.
The number of special children has increased over the world. For the benefit of these children, the NGO has started special classes being conducted by specially trained teachers.

IT all started in the year 1932, when a group of courageous women in Bengal took up to helping the helpless, exploited and victimized fellow sisters, women and child trafficking had increased to an unprecedented extent. In between the two World Wars, the number of sailors and soldiers had considerably increased and flesh trade found a ready and expanding market in Kolkata.

This society came into being with the name of ALL BENGAL WOMEN'S UNION registered under Act XXI of 1860.

1.   All Bengal Women's Union is celebrating its 75 years of inception
2.   A workshop is being organized at the headquarters for the Muslim women for their rights & legal status. This is specially meant for the women and girls of the surrounding areas. Renowned public prosecutor "Mr. Taj Mohammed" will preside over the workshop.
3.   The NGO has helped a Bangladeshi girl to get repatriated to her homeland with the help of NGOs from bangladesh.
4.   The children at the NGO are performing a dance drama on Rabindranath Tagore's songs called Dhanu Singher Dadabali based on Vaishnav Sangeet. They would be performing on 31st August, 2007 at Kala Mandir, Kolkata. Interested persons may contact office.
